GENERAL QUESTIONS

HOW DO I KNOW MY ORDER WAS SUCCESSFUL?

Within a few moments of successfully placing an order with us, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will contain your order number and a tax invoice. Once your item(s) have been processed and packaged up, you’ll then receive another email to inform you that the shipping process has begun.

HELP! I PLACED AN ORDER AND I’VE YET TO RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL – WHAT’S UP?

We’ll send you confirmation emails on every purchase you make on our site. So if you haven’t received a confirmation email within 5 minutes of placing your order, we suggest checking your email accounts ‘Spam’ folder, as they can occasionally be sent there. If you’re still unable to find your email, don’t worry, just contact our Customer Service Team, and we’ll help you out!

WHAT IF THE FLASK I WANT IS OUT OF STOCK?

We receive new stock every single day, so if your perfect James Butler Flask is currently out of stock, don’t worry! Contact our Customer Service Team as soon as you can, and we’ll let you know when we expect to receive more.

WHAT CAN I PUT IN MY JAMES BUTLER HIP FLASK?

Picking your flask is just the start, now it’s time to enjoy it! So, savour your favourite moments with whatever you enjoy the most because James Butler Flasks go great with anything. Yes, you heard us, anything! (Within reason, of course…)

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP ALCOHOL IN THE FLASK?

At James Butler, we recommend you don’t keep alcohol in the flask for longer than three days. If you haven’t finished it by then, we’d suggest transferring it into a glass container to keep it just right.

However, if you do keep it in there longer than three days, don’t worry! It hasn’t been ruined or spoiled, our flasks wouldn’t do that to you. Just make sure you keep the lid screwed on tight, and it should be fine to drink. 

However, after three days, any drink left in any container may begin taste a little metallically or plastically, depending on the type of container it is. Which at James Butler, we hate it… It’s really gross! So keep your drinks fresh!

James Butler Tip: Remember, if your flask does contain alcohol, always store it in a cool, dark place, as this will help keep it tasting fresher for longer!

WHEN & HOW SHOULD I CLEAN MY FLASK

To keep your drink tasting fresh, follow these simple guidelines:

1.    Rinse the inside of the flask with clean water before and after every use (Including when you first use it!).

2.    DO NOT put your flask in the dishwasher and DO NOT use chemical cleaners! You should instead clean it by hand with hot water and dry it with a cloth.

James Butler Tips:

1.    Never use soap. You won’t be able to remove all the residue from inside of the flask and it’ll affect the taste of your liquor – Ugh!

2.    If you’re changing the type of liquor in your flask, try rinsing it with a little lemon juice.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

I CHANGED MY MIND! I FOUND AN EVEN BETTER JAMES BUTLER FLASK, CAN I EXCHANGE MY FLASK FOR ANOTHER?

If you’re not 100% happy with your new flask, let us know! At James Butler, we want to make sure you’re satisfied with not only the look but the feel of your flask. That’s why we’re giving you 30 days to decide if you want to keep your purchase. 

If you want to swap your purchase for something else, contact our Customer Support Team and let us know! We can exchange the product for another one of equal value, and if the flask you desire is of lesser or greater value, we’re happy to refund the money lost or let you pay the remaining difference.

We’ll then provide you with an address to return your order. Items must be in brand new condition, in its original packaging and not be damaged in any way. Once we’ve received your flask and it’s been checked by our team, we’ll send out your replacement flask ASAP.

HOW LONG WILL MY EXCHANGE TAKE?

As soon as we received your flask (and any additional payment, if required), your replacement flask will be shipped to you within 1-2 business days.

THE FLASK I WANT TO EXCHANGE MINE FOR OUT OF STOCK, WHAT DO I DO?

Don’t worry! We receive new stock every single day, so the flask you’re looking for probably isn’t far away. Contact our Customer Support Team as soon as you can, and we’ll let you know when we’re expecting a new shipment, and get you set up.

WHAT IF I WANT TO RETURN MY FLASK?

We’re here to help you live life, your way, and you can’t do that without taking our flasks out for a try. That’s why we offer a 30-day return policy. If you’re not happy with your purchase, contact us and let us know. We’ll provide you with an address to return your order. Items must be in brand new condition, in its original packaging and not be damaged in any way. Once we’ve checked the item over, we’ll issue you with a refund for the product price. Refunds will be processed to the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

HOW LONG WILL MY REFUND TAKE?

Once we’ve received your flask and checked it out, refunds are processed within 24 hours. It may take up to 7 working days before you receive the funds back, however this depends on the payment type used (typically PayPal refunds are quick, while credit card refunds can take 5-6 business days to complete). There are no restocking fees.

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

At James Butler Flasks, we aim to process and ship every order within 1-2 business days. All of our items are shipped using Australia Post, and typical delivery takes 2-10 business days, depending on your location. Once your order has been shipped, we’ll provide you with a tracking code, so that you can follow the order yourself and count down the days until you receive your flask!

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

Yes! We ship using Australia Post and as soon as your order is shipped from our warehouse, you’ll receive an ‘Order Update’ containing a tracking code. 

Please be aware that it can take a couple of days for the tracking information to be updated.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA

All of our shipping policies relate to deliveries within Australia. However, if you live in another country and one of our items has caught your eye, let us know! Contact our Customer Support Team and let them know where you’d like the item sent to, and what you’d like to order. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can with a quote!
